Alexander Rogozhnik
Alexander Rogozhnik is a prominent Belarusian politician and diplomat, born in 1976 in Gomel. He graduated from Gomel State University in 1998 with a degree in accounting and analysis of economic activity. Rogozhnik has held various significant positions in the government, including serving as the head of the economic management department in the Ministry of Energy and as the general director of the Minsk Motor Plant Holding Company. He was appointed as the Minister of Industry from 2022 to 2024, after which he took on the role of Belarusian Ambassador to Russia. In June 2024, he was appointed as the new head of the Vitebsk region, succeeding Alexander Subbotin.
