Alexander Sergeev is a former director of the Federal Center for Applied Development of Artificial Intelligence (FCPRAI) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, having served from July 2023 to March 2024. His tenure was marked by allegations of conflicts of interest and corruption violations, which prompted the General Prosecutor's Office to challenge the reasons for his resignation, initially submitted as voluntary. Before his role at FCPRAI, he was the general director and founder of an IT company, ООО 'Вектеро.'
