Alexander Tropanov

Alexander Tropanov, a 29-year-old Israeli citizen, was recently in the news as one of three hostages set to be released by Hamas. He was abducted along with his family during a terror attack while visiting his parents for the Simchat Torah holiday. Tropanov is currently held by another militant group, Islamic Jihad, and his release has been demanded by Russia due to his citizenship.
