Alexander Vasilyevich Kolchak

Alexander Vasilyevich Kolchak (1874–1920) was a Russian admiral and polar explorer who became a prominent leader of the White movement during the Russian Civil War. His forces operated in Siberia and Kazakhstan, where they were known for their contentious interactions with local populations.
