Alexandra Josefsson is a Swedish woman who made headlines as the first person to give birth following a uterus transplant performed entirely through robotic surgery. Born in 1989 with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome, which resulted in her being born without a uterus, she navigated a challenging journey to motherhood. After years of searching for a suitable donor, she underwent a groundbreaking transplant at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg in 2021.
