Alexandra Tafur Salazar

Alexandra Tafur Salazar is a young Peruvian professional and member of the Alianza para el Progreso (APP) party. At 24 years old, she was recently hired by the Congress of Peru for administrative duties, despite being a trained dentist without prior parliamentary experience. Her hiring, which followed that of her mother, Cecilia Salazar Mattos, has raised eyebrows due to potential nepotism and irregularities in the hiring process, as it is against regulations to employ direct relatives in governmental roles.
