Alexandru Harea

Alexandru Harea has been appointed as the director of the State Protection and Guard Service (SPPS) of Moldova, following the dismissal of Vasile Popa. He has over 20 years of experience in the Ministry of Defense, where he held leadership roles in defense planning and peacekeeping operations, including missions with the United Nations in Ivory Coast and Syria. Harea is a graduate of the Military College 'Alexandru cel Bun' and holds a master's degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.
