Alfinur Rahmatullina

Alfinur Rahmatullina is a retired teacher and a prominent activist from the small village of Baimak in Bashkortostan, Russia. On January 17, 2024, she participated in a significant protest demanding the release of local activist Fail Alsynov, showcasing her commitment to environmental and civil rights despite the risks posed by the Russian authorities. Following the protest, she was detained and is currently facing charges related to participating in mass riots.
