Alfred Sangster

Dr. Alfred Sangster, OJ, was a distinguished educator, scientist, and Christian leader, renowned for his significant contributions to the fields of education and sports in the Caribbean. With a PhD in Chemistry, he excelled as a lecturer at The University of the West Indies and served as the principal of the College of Arts, Science and Technology, which later became the University of Technology, Jamaica. His commitment to holistic education fostered the development of numerous athletes, and he was also an accomplished author. Dr. Sangster's legacy of integrity and excellence was celebrated by family, friends, and colleagues following his passing at age 95.
