Alfredo Etchegaray

Alfredo Etchegaray is known for his heroic attempt to save an 82-year-old man who jumped off the La Barra bridge. After witnessing the incident, he called 911 but, not receiving an immediate response, he bravely removed his shoes and jumped into the water to rescue the man. Despite his efforts to turn the man around and bring him to shore, the elderly individual unfortunately passed away later, despite attempts at resuscitation.
