Alhaji Abdulateef Owoyemi

Alhaji Abdulateef Owoyemi is the head of the Fusengbuwa ruling house of Ijebu Ode and a former President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He has been in the news for advocating a merit-based selection process for the next Awujale of Ijebu land, emphasizing that financial influence should not dictate the outcome, following the death of the long-reigning Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
