Ali Amin was a prominent Egyptian journalist and co-founder of the newspaper 'Akhbar Al-Youm'. He is best known for his role in establishing Mother's Day in Egypt on March 21, 1956, after he and his brother Mustafa Amin were inspired by the story of a devoted mother who shared her hardships with them.
