Alice Anan

Alice Anan is the founder and director of the 'Kreutzfeldt-Jakob Israel Foundation,' which focuses on addressing the hereditary neurological disorder known as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. She has been involved in pioneering research aimed at early diagnosis and prevention of the disease, particularly in Israel where the carrier rate is relatively high. Recently, her foundation's scientific experiment was set to be launched into space aboard a Dragon spacecraft, aiming to study protein folding processes in microgravity conditions.
