Alice Gwedeza

Alice Gwedeza is the newly elected President of the Surveyors Institute of Malawi (SIM), making history as only the second woman to lead the institute since its establishment. A skilled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specialist with a Master's degree from the University of Edinburgh, Gwedeza aims to enhance regulatory compliance and professional standards in surveying, promoting gender equity in a traditionally male-dominated field.
