Alihan Muradov

Alihan Muradov is a Kazakhstani man who gained notoriety in June 2023 when he took eight hostages at a Kaspi Bank branch in Astana. During the standoff, he made demands and threatened the lives of the hostages, leading to a tense negotiation with law enforcement. The situation ended without casualties, and Muradov was subsequently sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.
