Alina Zhivago is an inspiring Ukrainian entrepreneur and the founder of Sunshine Cafe, a pioneering chain of inclusive pizzerias in Kyiv that employs young individuals with intellectual disabilities, including those with Down syndrome. After facing challenges in finding employment for her daughter, who has Down syndrome, Alina took it upon herself to create a supportive work environment for young people with similar challenges. Since opening the first Sunshine Cafe in September 2022, she has worked to promote inclusivity and provide opportunities for employment in the food industry. Alina's efforts have garnered recognition, placing her on the 'UP 100 Women’s Power' list in the business category, highlighting her commitment to social entrepreneurship and the empowerment of marginalized communities.
