Alis Balbierius
Alis Balbierius, born on October 1, 1954, in the Biržai region, is a prominent Lithuanian poet, writer, and photographer known for his passionate exploration of nature through photography. With a background in biology, he has worked in various environmental and journalistic roles, and has been a member of the Lithuanian Writers' Union since 1990 and the Lithuanian Photographers' Union since 1994. Balbierius has published 17 books of poetry, essays, and ecological themes, and has held around 40 solo exhibitions both in Lithuania and abroad. He recently gained attention for his exhibition 'Rūko medžiai' (Fog Trees), highlighting his unique perspective on nature's beauty.
