Alisher Roziokhunov

Alisher Roziokhunov was a prominent Uzbek journalist born in Andijan in 1993. Known for his work with various online publications including 'Kun.uz', 'Gazeta.uz', and 'Bugun.uz', he was recognized for his contributions to journalism and received the 'Kelajak bunyodkori' medal in 2021 for his role as an editor at the 'Ijtimoiy-huquqiy media markazi'. His commitment to speaking out against injustices was highlighted in 2020 when he reported an incident involving police violence against him, advocating for accountability. Sadly, he passed away at the young age of 32, leaving a significant impact on the journalistic community in Uzbekistan.
