Alison Beatty

Following a traumatic experience involving her son’s mental health crisis, Beatty's case has become emblematic of systemic issues in healthcare, particularly regarding medical misogyny, as she and her friend Jennifer Douglas advocate for improved medical practices and awareness of gender bias in emergency care.
