Alita Morgan

Alita Morgan is a 49-year-old trans woman and Yorta Yorta elder who grew up in La Perouse, Sydney, during the 1980s, a time marked by severe homophobia and violence against LGBTQ individuals. Now residing in Chester Hill, she has returned to her roots to participate in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade, representing the LaPa Legends float, and aims to inspire younger generations by sharing her experiences and emphasizing the importance of acceptance and pride within the LGBTQ community.
