Aliviya Foksha

Aliviya Foksha is an architect with a focus on memorialization projects, currently leading the design for a memorial museum in Yahidne, Ukraine. At 28 years old, she has been involved in this field since before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Her personal experiences during the war, including her family's time under occupation in Kherson, deeply inform her work. Foksha emphasizes the importance of honoring the pain of those affected by war through her architectural designs, yet faces criticism for the lack of direct community engagement in her project.
