Aliyu Wamakko
Aliyu Wamakko is a Nigerian politician who served as the Governor of Sokoto State from 2007 to 2015. He was initially a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) but later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) during his tenure. Wamakko has been influential in Sokoto politics and is known for his efforts in education and infrastructure development within the state.
