Aljuš Musli

Aljuš Musli

artist Bosnia and Herzegovina

Aljuš Musli, better known by his nom de guerre Hari Džekson, was a fascinating individual who lived a life straddling reality and fantasy. In the 1960s, he created his own version of the Wild West in Bijeljina, Bosnia, along the Drina River, where he aspired to turn his hometown into a personal Santa Fe. A self-taught filmmaker and passionate photographer, Džekson produced several films, though he never completed them. To embody his cowboy dream, he changed his name and gave his daughters Western-themed names. However, the war shattered his dreams and illusions, leaving behind a lasting legacy of his unique life and spirit, as depicted in the documentary 'Zadnji kavboj.'
