Alla F. Hamad Abdelkarim

Alla F. Hamad Abdelkarim is a former Libyan football player who, at the age of 20, became embroiled in a tragic incident while attempting to migrate to Europe. He was part of a boat that tragically resulted in the deaths of 49 migrants due to asphyxiation. Subsequently, he was convicted of human trafficking and sentenced to 30 years in prison; however, after demonstrating rehabilitation during his incarceration, he was recently granted partial clemency by the Italian president.
