Allal El Mourabit Ahmmar

Allal El Mourabit Ahmmar is a Moroccan-born individual who became a Spanish national and was previously convicted for attempting to join the Islamic State. He was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in 2018 for his intentions to travel to Syria for jihadist purposes. In 2020, he faced further charges related to terrorist activities but was acquitted of those accusations. Despite being placed under electronic surveillance following his release, he went off the radar in the Basque Country. Recently, he was arrested in Béziers, France, under a European arrest warrant for the alleged murder of three farmers in Spain during late 2023 and early 2024, indicating a troubling escalation in his criminal actions.
