Altahir Hashim is a Sudanese activist whose family was living in the Zamzam refugee camp, which was recently overrun by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). He has been vocal about the atrocities occurring in the camp, including killings and sexual violence, and has worked with a group of Darfuris abroad to raise funds for satellite phones and walkie-talkies to facilitate communication during emergencies amidst the ongoing communications blackout.
