Álvaro Massinge

Álvaro Massinge is the newly elected president of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), having taken office in Maputo. His election followed a successful appeal to authorities after an initial exclusion from the race. Supported by the Chamber of Commerce of Mozambique, Massinge won decisively with 87 votes, surpassing competitors Lineu Candeeiro and Maria Abdula. His leadership is expected to drive economic discussions and initiatives in the country.
