Álvaro Valencia Pineda

Álvaro Valencia Pineda is a medical rescuer and the coordinator of the Prehospital Care and Patient Transfer Area at the Guatemalan Red Cross. He has been actively involved in addressing health issues arising from natural disasters, particularly in the context of the recent floods in Alta Verapaz, which have severely impacted the health of vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly, pregnant women, and individuals with disabilities.
