Amábile Pacios
Amábile Pacios is the vice-president of the National Federation of Private Schools (Fenep) and a former counselor of the National Council of Education (CNE) in Brazil. She has been vocal in her concerns regarding the capacity of the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research (Inep) to effectively evaluate the vast number of distance education (EAD) centers across the country. Pacios argues that without sufficient resources, the quality control measures may not adequately address the issues of poorly maintained EAD facilities, potentially leaving subpar institutions unchecked.
