Amanda Duffy, 55, from Lurgan, Co Armagh, has been charged with serious terrorist offenses linked to an MI5 operation targeting New IRA leadership. She is currently awaiting trial for directing a terrorist organization and other related charges, stemming from a surveillance operation that took place between February and August 2020. Duffy recently sought to have her electronic tag removed to attend her daughter's wedding dress shopping but was denied by the court due to the severity of her charges.
