Amani Hashash

Amani Hashash is a Palestinian mother who gained international attention after her three-year-old son, Ibrahim, was severely mauled by an Israeli military dog during a raid on their home in the Balata refugee camp in February 2023. Amani's desperate pleas for the soldiers to control the dog highlight the traumatic experience she and her family endured, as they faced the aftermath of the attack which left her son with critical injuries.
