Amauri Prudêncio de Lima, known as Mauri, was a Brazilian singer who gained fame as part of the musical duo with his brother Maurício. Born into a family with a rich musical heritage, Mauri initially provided vocal support for the celebrated duo Chitãozinho & Xororó before stepping into the spotlight with his own act. His career spanned over 35 years, during which he delighted fans with his contributions to Brazilian country music. Tragically, Mauri passed away in a road accident on December 7, 2023, while his brother Maurício survived the incident.
