Amelia McKnight

Amelia McKnight is a talented and determined student from Old Harbour High School, who has recently gained recognition for her exceptional achievement in family and resource management, securing ninth place in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations. Describing herself as shy and uncomfortable in social situations, Amelia surprised many with her confidence during her school-based assessment, where she boldly aimed for a grade one, which she successfully achieved. Despite her family's limited resources in budgeting, she embraced the subject's practical life skills, including consumer education and budgeting, which she views as essential for her future. Currently a sixth-form student pursuing studies in communication, biology, physics, and chemistry, Amelia aspires to become a doctor, driven by her academic successes and the support of her school community.
