Américo Guevara

Américo Guevara is the president of the National Association of Public Universities of Peru (Aunap). He has been vocal in his opposition to recent legislative proposals that threaten university autonomy in Peru, particularly criticizing the 'ciclo cero' initiative which he believes undermines the quality of higher education and restricts access to a diverse range of educational opportunities.
