Ami Nadir

Ami Nadir is an 81-year-old archaeologist who recently earned his Ph.D. in archaeology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, 52 years after completing his engineering studies at the Technion. He is known for his insatiable curiosity and dedication to academia, having shifted from engineering to the humanities to broaden his understanding of the world. Living in Haifa with his wife, he is an active researcher focusing on economic development in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, and he inspires others to pursue lifelong learning and personal growth, especially post-retirement.
