Amorín Maciel

Amorín Maciel is a former Uruguayan Air Force officer who has been implicated in serious human rights violations, including the disappearance of communist militant Arpino Vega in 1974 and acts of torture at the Boiso Lanza base. Recently, he was in the news due to the suspension of his pension payments after it was revealed that he had been receiving them despite being a fugitive with an international arrest warrant.
