Amos Arbel was a prominent Israeli television presenter and journalist, best known for hosting the current affairs program 'Bein HaKisei' on Israel's Channel 1 during the 1980s and 1990s. Born in Haifa, he began his career in the military band of the Nahal Brigade before studying mime in France under the legendary Marcel Marceau. Throughout his career, Arbel served in various roles, including military and parliamentary correspondent, and he founded the cultural desk at the news program 'Mabat'. He retired from Israeli television in 2012 and passed away at the age of 80, leaving behind his wife Rachel and their children Keren and Avi.
