Ana Jenny Otárola Mora

Ana Jenny Otárola Mora was a 47-year-old woman from Quepos, Costa Rica, who tragically became a victim of femicide. Her lifeless body was discovered on June 4, 2024, in Guácimo, Limón, wrapped in blankets with stab wounds. Ana Jenny was described as a mother of two adult children and had a history of domestic abuse at the hands of her partner, Castrillo Hernández. Her death highlighted the ongoing issue of violence against women in the region.
