Ana Mercedes Encarnación Mejía

Ana Mercedes Encarnación Mejía is identified as the leader of a criminal network involved in the trafficking of Colombian women to Belgium for sexual exploitation. She was arrested during a coordinated operation by Dominican authorities in response to a transnational investigation initiated by Belgian law enforcement. Previously, she served a five-year sentence for the sexual exploitation of a family member.
