Ana Nascimento

Ana Nascimento is an archaeologist from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) who is currently leading excavations at the Sítio do Pilar in Recife, Brazil. Her work has revealed a colonial-era cemetery with over 180 skeletal remains, significantly contributing to the understanding of the region's historical burial practices and populations from the time of colonization.
