Ana Terra Pompeu

Ana Terra Pompeu is a 34-year-old speech therapist from Campinas, São Paulo, who faced a long and challenging journey of misdiagnosis and health struggles due to her vision issues. After initially being treated for myasthenia gravis, a serious autoimmune condition, she discovered that her true condition was strabismus. Despite enduring extensive treatments and surgeries, including a complex operation to correct her vision, Ana emerged with a renewed sense of self and is determined to advocate for better patient care in the medical field.
