Ana Vale Oliveira

Ana Vale Oliveira is a Portuguese clinical nurse manager who relocated to Ireland in 2017 with her husband, Fernando. They settled in Dublin, where Ana has found greater respect and value for her profession compared to her home country. After initially working in a nursing home during the Covid-19 pandemic, she now manages a dementia-specific day center. Ana appreciates the similarities between Portuguese and Irish cultures and values the bilingual upbringing of her daughter, Olivia, who speaks both Portuguese and English. Her positive experiences in Ireland have led her to feel comfortable and content in her new life, with a particular fondness for the beautiful landscapes and community in Dublin.
