Ana Vázquez de Rojas, known as 'la Legendaria', was a 16th-century Spanish woman who is considered one of the first Europeans to settle in Venezuela. Her marriage to Diego Gómez de Agüero and her descendants connect her to both Pope León XIV and key figures in Venezuelan history, including Simón Bolívar.
