Anan Phonimdaeng

Anan Phonimdaeng is the Deputy Governor of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT). He plays a significant role in the development and oversight of railway projects in Thailand, including high-speed rail initiatives. Recently, he has been in the news for his announcement regarding the approval of a revised investment contract for the high-speed rail project connecting three major airports in Thailand: Don Mueang, Suvarnabhumi, and U-Tapao. This project aims to enhance the transportation infrastructure and boost economic development in the Eastern Economic Corridor.
