Anand Pandian is a prominent anthropologist and the Krieger-Eisenhower professor at Johns Hopkins University. He has dedicated much of his research to exploring cultural divides and social isolation within American life. Through his travels across the United States, he engages with diverse communities, seeking to understand differing perspectives and the complexities of identity. His recent book, 'Something Between Us: The Everyday Walls of American Life, and How to Take Them Down,' discusses the barriers that separate people and advocates for building relationships through mutual understanding and solidarity.
