Anas Habib

Anas Habib is an Egyptian activist and exile who has gained prominence for his vocal opposition to the Egyptian government's recent gas deal with Israel, which he and many others view as complicity in the suffering of Palestinians. Having previously spent two years in prison under President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's regime, Habib now organizes international protests advocating for Palestinian rights and humanitarian aid, leveraging his substantial social media following to amplify his message. He has been involved in protests across Europe, including chaining himself to the gates of an Egyptian embassy in the Netherlands, and continues to be a prominent voice against the Egyptian government's policies regarding Gaza.
