Anatoliy Voytekhovskiy

Anatoliy Voytekhovskiy is a Belarusian activist known for his involvement in political dissent against the government. After returning to Belarus from political exile in early 2023, he was implicated in a series of political charges and classified as an 'extremist' by authorities. He previously worked as a journalist and co-founded one of the first private newspapers in Baranovichi, 'Shag', before transitioning to entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector. His activism intensified following the 2020 post-election protests, leading to his arrest for opposing the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Despite receiving a sentence of home confinement, he remains under restrictions due to his 'extremist' designation.
