Anca Cheaito

Anca Cheaito is a prominent figure in the Romanian community in Lebanon, where she has been a dedicated advocate for Romanian culture since settling in Beirut in 1988. Originally from Iași, she teaches French and coordinates cultural projects at Amlieh High School. As the founder and president of the magazine 'Orient Românesc', Cheaito has created a platform for the Romanian diaspora in Lebanon, promoting Romanian language and culture while also fostering dialogue between Romanian and Lebanese traditions.
