Anca Pop

Anca Pop, born on October 22, 1984, in Moldova Nouă, Caraș-Severin, was a Romanian-Canadian singer known for her unique blend of musical styles. Under the stage name Shamanca, she collaborated with renowned musician Goran Bregović and contributed to his acclaimed album 'Champagne for Gypsies.' In 2017, she released her own album in Japan, showcasing tracks like 'Free Love' and 'Ederlezi.' Tragically, Anca Pop passed away on December 17, 2018, in a car accident while en route to celebrate the holidays with her family.
