Andrea Barina

Andrea Barina is a key member of the grassroots organization Poveglia per Tutti (PpT), which successfully campaigned for the preservation of Poveglia Island in Venice. His efforts, alongside those of nearly 5,000 citizens, culminated in securing a long-term lease for part of the island to transform it into a public park, resisting the encroachment of mass tourism.
